Fair Monastery Lluc Mallorca

Fira de la Serra de Tramuntana

The Fira de la Serra de Tramuntana takes place every year in October in the monastery of Lluc on Mallorca. This is located in the municipality of Escorca in the middle of the beautiful Tramuntana mountains, which were declared a Unesco World Heritage Site in 2011.

Fira de la Serra de Tramuntana

The fair was once created to promote and publicise the products of the region. In 2023, the fair will open its doors for the 27th time (from 07.10. – 08.10.) and is pleased with the continued success of the event and the high number of visitors.

The monastery in Luc, called Santuari de Lluc in Spanish, is the perfect place for such a fair. This is because in addition to the exhibition stands, there are also numerous events, some of which take place in the nearby botanical garden.

In addition to the great products, you can expect conferences, a recycling fair for families, workshops on making herbal liqueur and Mallorcan dance rehearsals. Note: The programme is subject to change each year.

Cultural Program

The fair includes two days of cultural and gastronomic activities. The main venues of this Fira de la Serra de Tramuntana are the Botanical Garden “Germà Macià” and the Pilgrims’ Square.

In addition to the workshops, there is always a lively exchange with the exhibitors. They have a wide range of historical knowledge and are happy to share it with visitors.

Of course, the culinary well-being of the visitors is also catered for at such a fair. All kinds of traditional dishes from the region can be sampled.

Lluc And Mallorca

However, Lluc is also a popular destination for excursions all year round. The beautiful nature, the hiking trails and cultural buildings as well as the history magically attract visitors. In spring and autumn, cyclists in particular are out and about enjoying the challenging routes through the mountains.

Hikers also get their money’s worth. In addition to great beaches, Mallorca generally also has a lot of culture and history to offer. Why not visit the monastery of Lluc on your next holiday on Mallorca?
