Malaga and Marbella in Andalusia

Flagge von Anadalusien

Málaga and Marbella are located in the region of Andalusia in the south of Spain and are especially popular with Germans. The cities enjoy a very pleasant climate with many sunny days and offer visitors many beautiful beaches, historical sights and delicious cuisine. In Spanish cities, the so-called “plazas” are especially popular. They are a meeting place for young and old and surrounded by cafés, bars and restaurants. Here people enjoy Andalusian cuisine with tapas, fresh fish and other local specialities.

Beautiful properties are always being built in the region, offering breathtaking views of the sea or the countryside. At Wackershauser Immobilien, we work with local property developers, opening up the opportunity for you to get everything from a single source: from the consultation to the notary’s visit.

Málaga

Málaga is a vibrant city and one of the largest cities in Spain. The capital of the province of Málaga has a large airport and is therefore easy to reach by plane. However, many travellers also like to come by camper, in order to be able to travel the entire region comfortably with their own car.

Culturally, the city has a lot to offer. These include the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, the Picasso Museum and the impressive Alcazaba, a Moorish fortress perched on a hill overlooking the city. Visitors can enjoy a breathtaking view of the city and the sea from here.

One of the most important sights in Malaga is the cathedral, also known as “La Manquita” (the One-Armed). It was built in the 16th century in Renaissance style and has two towers, one of which remains unfinished. Besides the beautiful old town, with countless shopping opportunities, there is also a commercial port and a well-known university.

Marbella

Marbella is a coastal town on the Costa del Sol that stands for glamorous beaches, nightclubs and luxurious marinas. The beautiful old town invites you to stroll and explore, especially in summer. It is a labyrinth of narrow alleys, cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. Visitors experience the charm of an earlier time.

A highlight is the exclusive marina Puerto Banus, which is visited by the rich and famous. Impressive yachts are moored there and many luxury shops invite you to shop. The most popular beach, however, is the Playa de la Fontanilla.

Marbella is also a great destination for golfers. There are many first-class golf courses in the region that offer a very pleasant ambience.
